Consideration for nature and efficient farming
1.Highly digestible feed
Kurose Suisan uses compound feed all the way from the fry to the adult stage. Solid compound feed digests at a much higher rate than other forms of feed, making it less contaminating to the sea from leftovers. Keeping the best quality of water for fish by choosing the right feed with less leftovers enables us to rear the high-quality Kurose Buri. Good feed brings about a healthy sustainable environment and highest quality of fish.
2.Composition match with the growth stage of Yellowtail
The merit of feeding mixed solid feed from the fingerlings to the matured fish has enabled the fish to grow just as the same as the ones in nature. We can feed our Buri with this prefixed feed as much as we can.
3.The consideration of buoyancy / (Producing ideal feed)
The mixed solid feed is designed as it sinks into the ocean slowly. After the feed has been dropped into the ocean, it will be eaten by the fish, which is swimming with the ferocious speed. Some of the feed is missed, but since the feed is completely sinking, it still visible for fish to intake. The cost of feed is big part of total farming cost. Economically is important to see the fish is taking every pod of feed thrown into the ocean. Less left-over feed is also ecological because it may pollute the environment of ocean.
4.Special feed right before the harvest
The final stage of farming, we switch the feed into a specialize one designated for containing powdered chili. The bloodline (in the middle from head to tail) in Buri changes quicker than its kingfish. We have cleared this issue by the inclusive feed which was invented by Nissui group. The color change of bloodline is based on contact with oxygen and it tends to be misunderstood by the deteriorated meat. They find that the effect of capsaicin in red pepper suppresses discoloration. Our feed has ability to protect for original color of bloodline with appropriate freshness.
5.Reduction of fish meal for feed
Conservative fish feed for aquaculture contains a lot of fish meal. We engage to reduce usage of fish meal for feed to relieve pressure of the natural resources. It is still necessary to add some amount of fish meal for feeding, but we are tackling to reduce the usage gradually to relieve the pressure further.
